Steamboat Taxi might be a useful website for someone who thinks steamboat needs taxi and they think they can compete with uber/lyft, yellow zone, and waymo. i doubt the taxi method of transportation will work against the stiff competition of the above alternatives.
Steamboat Springs used to have a fun van service[TAXI], which gathered the masses from Dtown and moved them to the Mtn(a shared ride); and now Uber/Lyft or limo are your options. The link below explains how Uber/Lyft replaced taxis in larger metropolitan areas, to the dismay of taxis. And much like peter griffin, i can widdle wood or 3d print my designs while Uber'ing away.
